Clique - Terms of Use

Last updated: June 3, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 1999 Labs, LLC ("Clique," "we," "us") governing your use of the Clique app and website (the "Service"). By using Clique, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Clique. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and can form a binding agreement.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.

How Clique works

Clique lets you form small private groups ("cliques") and shoot shared photo "rolls" that develop and become visible to the members of that clique. Features, limits, and pricing may change over time.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and content you create. To run the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your content to the members of your cliques and as needed to operate and improve the Service.

You are responsible for what you upload. By posting content, you confirm that you have the rights to it and the necessary permission from anyone featured in it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Clique to:

Reporting, removal, and termination

You can report content or block other users in the app. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, and we may discontinue features at our discretion.

Purchases and subscriptions

Some features (such as Clique+, Roll Pass, and event upgrades) are paid. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that content will always be preserved.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clique will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
